Uthhan Global Returns, Replacement, and Refund Policies
Uthhan is catering to more than 50K plus artisans across India and all your purchase amounts will go directly to the respective artisan families. Born in April 2012, Uthhan is a joint initiative between different artisan community organizations and GERG (Golden Era Royal Group) for the upliftment of financially weaker segments of skilled artisans across India. Uthhan is the first initiative in India where the profit from sales goes directly to the respective skilled workers. The project eliminates the role of middlemen and other illegal financial exploitation which kept a monster sum of skilled workers in India in dark and never-ending financial agony.
General Return Policies
We will be happy to deliver you the best quality handicraft products. But we do have returns and refunds in unavoidable circumstances. Below are the pointers.
- Our policy lasts 5 ( Five ) days. If 5 ( Five ) days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange
- Products are returnable within the applicable return time ( 5 working days ), if you’ve received them in a condition that is physically damaged, has missing parts or accessories, defective, or different from their description on the product detail pages on Uthhan Global.
- Damaged products to be reported within 24 hrs from the date of delivery for refund/replacement. No claims will be entertained for refund/replacement after 24 hrs.
- Below Mentioned types of goods are exempt from being returned apart from damaged products:- i) The courier charges of the returned product won't be borne by Uthhan if the product is damaged from the client-side. ii) Bulk products ( Products whose numbers are above 5 ) iii) Paintings.
- There are no partial refunds against purchase
- Products marked as "non-returnable" on the product detail page cannot be returned.
- Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days..
- All the refunds will be processed within 30 ( Thirty ) working days from the time of cancellation of order into the account confirmed by the customer via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- The Products can be canceled only after the delivery of the product as per the return policy above.
- If You want the product to be returned, sign in to your Uthhan Global account and chat with our team with the order details. You can email the request to email@example.com. Then request for the return of your product with the reason for cancellation. The admin of Uthhan Global will accept your request depending upon the reason for the product return
- The canceled product has to reach our office/franchisee addresses as mentioned in the Contact Us section of Uthhan Global to initiate the refund.
- The courier charges of the returned product will be borne by Uthhan Global if the product is damaged or there is a change in specification. Moreover, customers have to inform the exact reason for their return to us via email or phone.
- The courier charges of the returned product won't be borne by Uthhan if the product is damaged from the client-side.
- If the product is as per the specification mentioned by the customer while placing the order Uthhan Global won't do any refund
- Late or missing refunds (if applicable) - If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially contacted by your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call at 7353155800
- Sale items (if applicable) - Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
- Exchanges (if applicable) - We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and send your item to our Office/franchisee addresses as mentioned on the Contact Us page.
